Day 1
Welcome to the LEAN and Vital 3 Day Pantry Makeover Challenge! I am so happy you are here with us.
Day 1 will help you learn to really read the labels on your food, and identify toxic ingredients that can be doing harm to our bodies. You will learn the answers to these questions: *What is the difference between the ingredient panel and the ingredient list? *How can we make the most of the foods for our nutritional journey? *What is the benefit of fiber? and learn how to identify dangerous ingredients in our foods that are linked to diseases and illnesses, so we can remove them and find better options. Day 2
Day 2 Focuses on teaching Traffic Light Eating, and how to create your grocery list using this technique. Traffic Light Eating helps us categorize our foods into those we want to eat every day, those we want to limit in quantity, and those we want to keep for special occasions or even eliminate altogether. This is a simple and doable continuum for identifying the healthiest vs the least healthy foods, and is fun for even children to do- and when we teach our children this technique, they are amazing at helping to keep it healthy!


Day 3
Day 3 focuses on cleaning the pantry, fridge and freezer of the unhealthy non-foods, or at least identifying them for future removal, and focusing on healthy replacements. No need to be worried- we are not necessarily throwing anything away today, unless you decide you want to! We will, however, get some ideas for healthy substitutions, and leave this challenge knowing you CAN do this! You and your family CAN have a healthier pantry, and still enjoy your food immensely- maybe even more! Knowing what we are putting in our bodies is truly nourishing our bodies and not causing harm in the short or long-term, is incredibly satisfying, don't you think? :-)
